The Moloch: a setting sourcebook for KULT

Chapter 11: A Girl has Disappeared (introducing a new player and PC)

A new player, female, plays a girl called Natalie who is in search of her twin sister, Susanne, who was recently 'discovered' as a photo model and who has disappeared without a trace a couple of days ago. The other PCs meet her because Jessica (the now-homeless girl contact of the PCs) had been in the same position as Susanne a few years ago, and having heard of her success (though not yet her disappearance) she fears something similar as happened to her (drugs, debasing sex etc.) will happen to Susanne - she asks Kurt and Peter to help her locate the girl and warn her.

In Midas Club, the in-club as far as the Management is concerned, a club located behind an unmarked and hard-to-spot steel door (if you can find it you're admitted), they find Natalie who is by now posing as her sister. She does not tell the PCs about her true identity yet. The PCs and Jessica warn her and she throws in her lot with the PCs, knowing that her chances to find her sister are slim as it is, while being found out is very probable.

A Lictor called Ernest, one of the six members of the Central Management, has already seen Natalie / Susanne and has begun to wonder just who she is. That is because Susanne has found the favor of Rainer Xavier von Habsburg, the leader of the Management and yet another Lictor, and has become his prize possession - literally. She should be with him on Dortburg castle, yet here she is. He wants to investigate. There are a couple of others who want to do that as well but neither side will find out anything useful quickly enough to act on it.

A couple of days pass with the situation becoming increasingly weird and paranoid because Kurt and Peter obviously hide a lot of things from Natalie / Susanne while she herself still hides her true identity from them. Natalie visits the Professor with them and meets some of the other Forgotten.

The PCs hear about someone who is called Nicholas, a strange guy who has a problem with excess body hair - you could say he is furred, even in the face. When Natalie breaks her cover at last and tells the PCs who she really is the group decides to check out Susanne's flat - Natalie has done so already but she might have overlooked something. She actually did: there's a bunch of now-decayed roses on Susanne's vanity table with a calling card bearing only the name 'Rainer Xavier von Habsburg'. Natalie did not know that name but Kurt and Peter do...
